CBC Food Bank Day -- silent auction Friday, Dec 2. is CBC Food Bank Day. CBC Kelowna's Daybreak and Radio West will be broadcasting LIVE from the Rotary Centre For the Arts. To kick things off, we're holding a silent auction of a painting by local artist Aunaray Carol Clusiau. All proceeds of the sale of "Kalamalka #9" will go to the Kelowna Food Bank.
the painting is 1' X 4' (or 12" X 48") and is acrylic on wood panel (which is 1 3/4"deep). It is part of her Lake Kalamalka series. Paintins 1-7 in the series have sold - each painting was one-of-a-kind. This is a completely original painting and is valued at $495. Anyone interested in bidding on this stunning painting, come down to the Rotary Centre for The Arts on Friday from 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. to see the painting and bid in person. The auction will kick off when Daybreak goes to air at 6 a.m. , and we will award the painting LIVE to the winning bidder as of 5:55 p.m. on Radio West! |
